christmas ordering information

Pet portraits make a wonderful, unique and personal gift for pet lovers at Christmas time. Due to the high demand for my portraits in the run-up to Christmas, it is advisable to get in touch as soon as possible to ensure that your portrait is ready in time. Normally I aim to complete portraits within a week of receiving the deposit, however the lead-time is usually longer around Christmas so do please bear this in mind.

You can also order a gift voucher if you'd like to give the gift of a portrait this Christmas, but you've left it a little late this year, or you don't know exactly how your intended recipient would like their portrait to look.

The important dates for Christmas 2011 orders are as follows:

• Last ordering date (portraits): Monday 12th December 2011
  
  This is the last point at which I can accept portrait commissions for a pre-Christmas delivery, though I cannot guarantee that I can accept all enquiries made close to this date - I will let you know if it will be possible at point of enquiry, based on demand and the size/complexity of the portrait(s) in question.

• Last ordering date (gift vouchers): Friday 16th December 2011
  
  This is the last date by which you can order gift vouchers for a pre-Christmas delivery.

• Last shipping date (gift vouchers): Tuesday 20th December 2011
  
  This is the latest that I can despatch gift vouchers for a pre-Christmas delivery (using Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery; my preferred postage method for gift vouchers).

• Last shipping date (portraits): Thursday 22nd / Friday 23rd December 2011
  
  This is the latest that I can despatch artwork for a pre-Christmas delivery (using Royal Mail Special Delivery; my preferred postage method for portraits). Portraits that require posting on Friday 23rd December will incur an additional charge (to guarantee Saturday delivery).
